I love fall, though we don't have it here. We are blessed with two seasons, summer and winter. Winter is always our favorite time of the year. How I wish there would be fall too.
This morning, whilst walking in the garden, something, few things caught my eyes. Things that I didn't really pay much attention to. Well.. just the right thing at just the right time, something that could be useful for my little project.
This plant has brownish-yellowish leaves with tiny little red flowers. I don't know what it is called. It just reminds me of maples in the fall. Similar but not the same.
I could feel the fall atmosphere, literally...in my own little world.
So..here is my little project.
A dry pumpkin that has been under the outdoor water faucet since last winter. I'm not sure how it got there. Anyways..I re-purposing an old BBQ into a planter and put it beside the pumpkin. It turned out great. I've always wanted to get rid of that old BBQ. I'm glad I didn't.
Happy Fall everyone!

You made a very wise decision recycling your old bbq and used it as container garden. Look very vintage and wonderful!
ReplyDeleteWhat a good idea to repurpose that old bbq. I don't know what that plant is but it sure does look like autumn!
ReplyDeleteI will out in the garden now too. I sure like it when the cooler weather comes back to the desert.
Thanks for coming to the party again this week!
