Garden treats

It's Friday and the weekends here. A very much needed time to rest and spend longer time roaming the garden. One of the arousing things about spring. It just excites me every time. I mean every single day without fail. There aren't a lot of garden chores to do on my Fridays, as I always make sure I get them done during the weekdays. Today is basically the time for me to  enjoy the outdoors, taking  pictures of new blooms; capturing the memories before they're gone, soaking up the sun, enjoying the view, whilst sipping a cup of hot cocoa on my tiny porch...nothing can be better than that.

A week ago I bought flowering hyacinth and crocuses. I waited in anticipation for them to open up their flowers.

And today, they are kind enough to share their pretty blooms, giving me a good start to the day.

My purple crocuses this morning.

This cute little birdhouse is a treat for my garden and for the little travelers that would love to stop by.

I'm off to visit these wonderful links:
