It's officially summer here. Arid, humid, dreadful and unpleasant weather with the maximum temperature of more than 45 degrees C. There's nothing much going on in my garden now, it is just too hot for gardening. It's time to put the gardening tools away and give myself a little break. Moving on... till then, I'm keeping myself busy with other things, tending my indoor plants and enjoying the tours from others that are having a lush spring blooms in their garden. Tag along with me, I'm off for a tour at .....

I'm sharing some beautiful blooms that I had just before the hot temperature hit a few weeks ago.
Despite the fact that most of them are dying and fading away, in this kind of weather I consider myself still lucky enough to see some blooms that can tolerate the extreme summer heat. This purple flowers awake every summer. They are every where in my garden now. I'm not sure what it's called. Perhaps someone can let me know.
It's a pleasant surprise to see zinnias bloom in this kind of weather.
My lovely lobelia, still blooming...summer is not that bad after all. Have a wonderful day...

We have the same issue here with really hot summers. I usually just water and stop much else in the garden when it gets too hot. The pots dry out and I am inside in the air conditioning most of the time. Your climate must be a lot drier than ours though for sure. Thanks for stopping by.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful desert blooms! Your zinnias are pretty. The ones I planted a month or more ago haven't done so well. And I love the lobelias. I'm your new follower, and I hope you have a wonderful week.
