A little craft corner

A place for everything and everything in its place.

Getting organized seems to be at the top of the list for everyone most of us. As much as I love being organized and stay neat, I'm trying to tackle a little at a time, started of with creating my little craft corner. I never really had a dedicated space where I could sit and create and where everything is within reach. Though crafting is occasionally but it would be wonderful having my own place. Perhaps a craft room of my own. That's probably too much to ask at this time as all rooms in the house are occupied. Since my bedroom is relatively spacy, I decided to use a small portion of it for my craft corner. It's almost done but it requires a little touch up.
Today I'm taking you on a little tour of my little craft corner.

A mobile trolley for my storage boxes.

A towel holder for ribbons hanging on the side for the trolley.

Loving these pretty storage boxes.

Soft toy glued on the jar lid as a pin cushion.

Remember my jars? Click  Here. They make cute storage for buttons, beads, pins etc.

Wicked  basket that holds wrapping papers and wall papers. I'm thinking of spray painting the basket white.

and this basket too. I think it looks much better  in white.

That's pretty much of my little corner. Till next time....

  3. I'm smiling here, for several reasons Suffia...1. because you visited my blog and left lovely comments about my bedroom makeover and became a follower. 2. because I myself lived in Doha, Qatar for 3 years, then moved to Abu Dhabi for another 3, I have only been back in New Zealand for 2 years. Before Qatar I lived in Brunei for 8 years, so you can see I know what it is like to live abroad myself.

We are given all sorts of homes and I went from a Mansion size house in Brunei to a tiny little apartment in Qatar (which by the way was demolished after we left). I know that we can make a home from 4 square walls. They are just the supports, the home is what we put into it. Our love, our possessions and collections of things we take with us or gather on our way. I wish I had discovered blogging when I was overseas, it would have been a great way to share my expat life with the world.

I love your photos, they are clear and sharp, something I need to improve on.

I will most definitely be signing up for new posts, you have some lovely crafts and maybe I can share some of them on my blog some time.

How can I subscribe by email to new posts. I tried the link just below here but it only sends updates to post comments not actual posts?

  8. Hi Suffia, one of my best friends lives in Qatar. I'm just a hop, skip and a jump away in Kuwait where I've been for the past 17 years. I love your little craft corner. And the cut plush toy as a pincushion. So cute! I wish I had a dedicated craft area. I really need to get organized. Crochet and some cross-stitch is about the only thing I do right now because it is easy to find yarn and thread. Not so easy to find all my paper crafting supplies. Hope you have a great day! Tammy

  9. Hi Suffia!

The little toy turned pin cushion is so cute and clever! I think I would craft and sew more if I had a dedicated.

Thanks for sharing at my party this week :)
